These images were haunting...the white of the icebergs, the blue of the sky and the sea...and the fauna...unique! But most and foremost, it was seeing the ships leaving from Ushuaia towards Antarctica! And there, after a few drinks too many at the Irish pub and a banner at our hostel: $3195 for an 11 day-cruise to Antarctica, when prices usually go as high as $70,000! So, in the heat of the moment, we decided to go...to meet with penguins, whales and this fragile and still unexplored land...
Wait...hang on a sec....The clock is ringing?? It's 8am... time to wake up?? This was only a dream...Damned!!

Ces images nous hantaient...le blanc des icebergs, le bleu du ciel et de la mer...et puis la faune...unique! Mais surtout, c'était de voir les bateaux partir d'Ushuaia direction, l'Antarctique! Et puis là, après quelques verres de trop au pub Irlandais et une annonce à notre hostel: $3195 pour 11 jours de croisière en Antarctique, alors que les prix montent jusqu'à presque $70,000! Alors sur un coup de tête, nous sommes partis...à la rencontre des pingouins empereurs, des baleines et de cette terre fragile et encore inexplorée...
Mais....que se passe-t-il?? Un réveil qui sonne? Il est 8h, l'heure de se lever? Tout ceci n'était qu'un rêve..... Zut alors!!
