Discovery of Muskoka region and Algonquin Provincial Park. Muskoka is a cottage district that counts 1,600 lakes. It is located in Central Ontario, at 4 hours from Toronto. First stop, we climbed at the top of the highest and biggest Muskoka chair surely ever created. That wooden outdoor chair can be found everywhere in North America. Our friend, Eliane, looks like 'Alice in Wonderland' sitting on that gigantic chair.
One of the highlight of our stay in Muskoka was the camp fire that Dwight Village Motel's owners prepared every evening for our enjoyment. We used it to cook our food and to spend quality time with the other guests. The last great moment was when we decided to go canoeing for more than 2 hours on Canoe Lake, in Algonquin Provincial Park. When you surround yourself with nature, you immediately feel like 'new' again. So, the best remedy to our stressful live has to run away from the city and get lost in the wilderness. Let's escape from the city as often as we can then.
