We flew to Vancouver from Toronto. We flew over the flat lands of Saskatchewan and the Canadian Rockies. We arrived at 4pm, took the Sky Train to reach Canada Place, Downtown Vancouver where we were due to pick up our BMO Marathon Vancouver 8K bags. We picked them just on time and finished off our day in North Vancouver with my friend Sandra and her family.
The next day, she picked us up at 7:15am, parked her car next to the sea bus… and the three of us went bravely downtown, ready to start the 8km run, despite the pouring rain. Ben finished first. Sandra and I finished the race almost at the same time (at a 100 difference). It felt great making such an exploit.
